This spring, my girlfriend and I decided it was a good time to casually start looking for our first condo. We went to a few open houses and realized we should find a local buyer agent. Our first meeting with Jeff put us at ease right away. He was respectful (we had our concerns as young, first-time buyers) and was willing to explain everything to us. Our first meeting with Jeff put us at ease right away. He was respectful (we had our concerns as young, first-time buyers) and was willing to explain everything to us. We felt very comfortable with Jeff and appreciated that he had a sense of humor. This home-buying thing might actually be fun! After that first meeting he took us on several showings, during which he learned more specifics from us on what we were looking for in a home, and we learned from him what kinds of questions we should ask seller agents and things we should be looking for at showings/open houses. Jeff was always willing to listen to our feedback and thoughts on condos we visited. Although we ended up finding our future home at an open house without Jeff’s presence, we were able to confidently make the decision to start the offer process because of the knowledge that Jeff had given us. He kept us patient during the price negotiations with the sellers, which meant we were able to get the closing price down about 4.8% from the listing price. Throughout the offer, acceptance, home inspection, and closing, Jeff was consistently available to answer questions (even late at night!) calm our nerves, and be our general go-to guy. He was even willing to go the extra step when needed–like speaking to our parents when they had questions. We think very fondly of Jeff and would recommend him to anyone looking to buy in the Long Island area.

I was hooked, even before he drove us all around from the far reaches of Dorchester to Newton, and everything in between. He laid out the pros and cons of towns north of the river and was willing to take us there if we wanted but we decided to stay south of the city. Everywhere we went, Jeff knew, street by street, the pros and cons, where to get your groceries, which hidden little store had the best wine selection or the nicest/local owners, the best coffee, how to commute to wherever you need to go and how easy or bad it would be by but or T or driving or cycling. Looking at houses, Jeff has the ability to notice the littlest details that add character and value, or a tiny little crack the means “run away fast!” I was amazed at what Jeff noticed at each house h…

My son loves Jeff, and I now consider Jeff one of our good friends and always look forward to seeing him again. Especially like the natural history stuff and cool pictures of old details, like the door. If we ever move, I look forward to working with you again.
Selling and buying a home can be a very stressful process. Choosing the right Broker can make that process so much easier. I listed my home for sale with Jeff in September. We had our first open house September 14th. We accepted an over asking offer and went into contract on September 19th. After several months of waiting for the buyer to get funding the deal fell through as the buyer falsified information on his bank application. We went back on the market the end of December and had an open house on the 27th. Once again a full price offer was accepted and we entered in to contract and closed in February. During this painful process Jeff was by our side. Showing the house, taking us house shopping for a new purchase. Dealing with our craziness for six months.
